The VPS Capability Framework is a structured system that defines the knowledge, skills, and behaviours (capabilities) required for effective performance across the Victorian Public Service. It is critical for your interview because it is the assessment benchmark used by the panel to develop questions and rate your responses against the job's key selection criteria (KSC).

How should I structure my answers to VPS behavioural questions?

STAR provides a clear, logical structure for your examples, making it easy for the panel to assess how you've demonstrated relevant skills and behaviours in the past.
